The Metaphor of Music and Our Times

We live in troubling, perilous times, but there is hope on the horizon. The harmonious blend of music is the inspiration for this hope; the genius of God Himself, the world's greatest Composer, is the source thereof.

The next time you listen to music, try to distinguish the "black" notes from the "white" notes. You would have a much easier time spelling (or playing) Sorabji's Opus clavicembalisticum.

One trait common to every great piece is the use of both black and white keys. The most skillful composers and arrangers combine them so they blend in perfect harmony, creating a beautiful sound together.
